Obituary for Mary Cramer

Mary J. Cramer, 66, of Stroud Township passed away suddenly at St. Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem. She was the devoted wife of Edward Cramer and a loving mother and grandmother. Born in East Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Sobrinski) Resh.

Mary lived in the Stroudsburg area for all of her life and attended Pocono Catholic High School. She most recently worked for the Borough of Stroudsburg as an executive assistant and payroll clerk. Mary retired from the Borough in 2016. In her spare time she enjoyed water color painting.

Mary is survived by her husband Edward of 45 years, her three children Sean and his wife Katie of Lititz, PA, Laura and her husband Kahenya of Nakuru, Kenya, and Sally and her husband Troy of Upper Darby, Pa; her grandchildren Jake, Leah, Lily, Matthew, Rini, and Trey; her sisters Barbara Roman of York, PA, Carol Verchimak of East Berlin, PA, Kathleen Hahn of East Stroudsburg, PA, Theresa Allegretti of Philadelphia, PA, Joan Rathje of Manson, OH, and one brother James Resh of Cropus Cristi, TX; and her step mother-in-law Mary Resh of Stroudsburg, PA; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Christina Probst.

Per Mary’s wishes there will be no services at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date by the family. Donations can be made in Mary’s memory to a charity of ones choice. Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc. 23 N. 9th Street Stroudsburg, PA 18360 is assisting the family with arrangements.
