Obituary for William Trainor Jr.

William Bernard Trainor Jr. of Middle Smithfield Township, for over 26 years died on Sunday Dec.24, 2017 in the Lehigh Valley Pocono Hospice House E. Stroudsburg surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bronx, N.Y. on July 24, 1941, he was the son of William Bernard Trainor Sr. and Mary C. Powers.

Bill was married to Patricia M. Burke, one daughter Joanne (Trainor) Cavaliere, married to Frank, one grandson Frank, and one granddaughter Jessica. Was married to Evelyn Gil-De-Lamadrid, 2 daughters, Lisa (Trainor) Rodriguez, married to Victor and 2 granddaughters: Samantha, Sydnee, one grand son Jonathan DeJesus. Married to Saskai, one great granddaughter Gianna. Diana (Trainor) Henderson, married to Scott, 2 granddaughters: Damary and Neris Williams, one grandson Tyrique. 2 sons: William L. Trainor married to Samantha, one granddaughter Alison, Michael T. Trainor married to Tracy and one grandson Jacob.

Bill was retired from the New York City Transit Authority as a bus driver. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, Army National Guard & Army Reserve for over 37 years, retiring as a Master Sergeant E-8. He loved his family and friends and Flag. He also loved his Dogs and Cat and will be with our lord Jesus Christ, Family, Friends and Pets.

There will be a viewing on Saturday Dec. 30, 2017 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th.St.Stroudsburg, Pa. Memorial donations can be made to the Dale & Frances Hughes Cancer Center 181 E. Brown St. E. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18301
