Obituary for Ronald Brezin
Ronald S. Brezin 71 of Brodheadsville, Pa. died on Monday Feb.19, 2018 at the Lehigh Valley Hospice House Pocono E. Stroudsburg, Pa. He was the loving husband of Therese (DeBlass) Brezin with whom he had celebrated 31 years of marriage.
Born in Somerville, N.J. he was the son of Bernard and Helen (Konieczny) Brzezienski. Ronald was residing in the Brodheadsville area for the past 14 years and prior to that he lived in the Manville and Raritan, New Jersey areas. Ron was a Sargent detective for the Bound Brook Police Department for 25 years retiring in 2005.
He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Tannersville, Pa. and was an army veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Gilbert Post of V.F. W. # 12160 for many years.
In addition to his wife Therese he is survived by a son Damian M. Brezin and his wife Erynn of Middlesex, N.J. and a daughter Yvonne Scott and his husband David Todd of Milford, N.J., 7 grandchildren: Michael, Noah, Connor, Taylor, Mekayla, Faith, and Rebecca and a great granddaughter Bella.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday Feb. 22, 2018 at 10:00am from Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church Cherry Lane Rd. Tannersville, Pa. with Fr. Richard E. Czachor as celebrant. Burial will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville, Pa with military honors at a later date.
There will be a viewing on Wednesday Feb. 21, 2018 from 6-8:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 232 N. 9th.St.Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360
