Vincent Politi 92 of Bartonsville, Pa. passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the widower of Margaret Politi who died in June of 2015.
Born in Orange, N.J. he was the son of Andrew and Arcangela (Cirelli) Politi. Vince was a resident of the Stroudsburg area for the past 25 years and prior to that he resided in the West Orange, N.J. area. He was employed as a tool and dye maker for the American National Can Corp. for 20 years retiring in 1991.
Vince was a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Stroudsburg, Pa. where he was a long time usher and was an army veteran of WWII. He was also a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus council 4084 and assembly 980, Stroudsburg PA.
Vince is survived by 2 sons: Vincent Politi wife Francesca, Keith Politi wife Lou Ann, 2 daughters: Ellen Cieslak and Kristen Parmagioulis husband Nikolaos of Mosley, and 13 grandchildren. Vince is preceded in death by daughter Andrea Lardieri.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 10AM at St. Luke’s Catholic Church 818 Main St. Stroudsburg, Pa. with Fr. Carmen Perry as celebrant. Entombment will be in the Cedar Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum Allentown, Pa.
There will be a visitation on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc. 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
The family would also like to have donations made in Vincent’s memory to the St. Luke’s Hospice, and thank them for all their care and support.
