Gabriel Angel Valentin

Gabriel Angel Valentin, 59, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania passed away on April 15, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono. He was the loving husband of Jacqueline Rose Guzzetta Valentin with whom he shared 21 years of marriage and many more of dear friendship.  Born in Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, New York, he was the son of Victor Rodriguez and Fredeswinda Padilla of Puerto Rico.

As Gabriel found his way professionally into buildings and construction, primarily as a senior claims analyst and project manager, he was able to establish a formidable reputation within the industry.  From private to public works his commitment to his craft and his unwavering dedication earned him the respect of peers and clients alike, solidifying his standing as a trusted professional in the field.  Gabriel's name became synonymous with quality and reliability, making him a go-to figure and his absence will be sorely missed.

Gabriel was a brilliant man who often stumped the smartest of us. More than anything he loved his family.  A devoted Poppa, he was always there to care for and protect his family.  He was the best friend you could ever ask for.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his sons: Dante Gabriel Valentin and Giorgio Angel Valentin, mother Fredeswinda Padilla, sister Lillian Valentin, nephew Tamron J. McLellan, niece Harleigh Jaelin McLellan, first wife Michelle Joslin and many dear life-long friends.

There will be a viewing on Sunday April 21, 2024, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc., 23 North 9th Street, Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania 18360.  A service will take place at 1:00pm at the funeral home. Private Cremation will follow.
