Obituary for Benjamin T. Lentz Jr.

Benjamin T. Lentz Jr. 81 Stroudsburg, Pa. died on July 2, 2018. Born in East Stroudsburg, Pa. he was the son of Benjamin and Ida (Anglemeyer) Lentz. Ben was preceded in death by his 2 wives Doris (Floney) Lentz and Shirley (Altemose) Lentz.

Benjamin was a lifelong resident of the Stroudsburg area. He worked at various jobs throughout his life; including Sebring’s power house, building contractor, welding dept. of Paterson Kelly Co., Stroudsburg Electric, and superior shelter systems to name a few. He was a member of the Cherry Lane United Methodist Church Tannersville, Pa. and was also a mason at the Barger Lodge #325 F. & AM Bartonsville, Pa.

Ben is survived by two sons: Christopher S. Lentz and his companion Freda Seiple of East Stroudsburg, Pa. and Mark Lentz, a step-daughter Renee Kresge of Kunkletown, Pa. and 2 step-sons: Trevor Weiss of Palmerton, Pa. and Brooke Weiss of Mary D, Pa. a sister Ida Mae and a brother Robert Lentz, 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 sons: Benjamin IV and David Lentz.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday July 5, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Cherry Lane United Methodist Church Cemetery 4326 Cherry Lane Church Rd. Tannersville, Pa. The Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home 23 N. 9th.St.Stroudsburg, Pa. is in charge of the arrangements.
