Irene F. Pasquariello

Irene F. Pasquariello, 58, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania died Thursday, April 18, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem.  She was the loving wife of Antonio “Anthony” Pasquariello with whom she shared over 32 years of marriage. Born in Amityville, New York, she was a daughter of Josephine (Benanti) Hill of Copiague, New York and the late Richard Hill.

Irene worked as an administrative assistant for many years.  She moved to the Poconos from Bayshore, Long Island where she enjoyed giving back to her community.  She volunteered with the American Red Cross and at ECHO Thrift Boutique in Stroudsburg.  Her passion in life, however, was being a loving wife, caring mother, and grandmother.  She cherished her family and time spent with them.

Along with her husband and mother, Irene is survived by her children: Joanna Pasquariello and her fiancé, Ryan McCrowe; Matthew Pasquariello; grandson, Patrick Pasquariello; siblings: Richie Hill; Michael Hill; and Jackie Ortiz. She was preceded in death by her son Patrick J. Pasquariello.

There will be a viewing on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc. 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Rev. Father Michael F. Quinnan will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Luke, 818 Main Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM to the time of service.  Burial will follow at Stroudsburg Cemetery.
