Karen Nemyo

Karen Nemyo, 83, of Thornhurst, Pennsylvania died Friday, March 22, 2024, at her residence.  Born in Germantown, Wisconsin, she was a daughter to the late Edward and Cora (Ciriacks) Ritterbusch.

Karen worked as a psychiatric nurse for many years at the former Pocono Medical Center.  She enjoyed sewing, crafting, and the Greenbay Packers. Her passion for traveling took her all over the world as she took special trips with each of her grandchildren whether it was a cruise or flying to another country.

She is survived by her children: Todd Nemyo and his wife, Natasha, of Alaska; Brett Nemyo of Thornhurst, PA; Laurie Shady of Ringgold, Louisiana; grandchildren Ronald, Alexis, Brett, Brandon, Brian, Tristan, Tanner and Gabriel; great grandchildren Avianna, Thea, Oliver, Rosalea, Alexa and Donnie.  Karen was preceded in death by her brothers: Dennis, Charles, and Ray Ritterbusch, her son Randall Nemyo and her son-in-law Gerald Shady.
